How to Register and Operate on Acquisti in rete

New autentication

To use the Acquisti in rete PA platform, economic operators must complete the following two steps:

  1. User Registration
  2. Vendor Qualification (required only for operations on MePA or SDAPA)

These procedures apply to both Italian and foreign users.

The registration process depends on whether the user holds a recognised digital identity.

User Registration

With digital identity (SPID, CIE, CNS, or eIDAS) UE.svg

If you already have a recognised digital identity:

  • Go to the homepage and click LOGIN
  • Select your identity provider
  • Upon successful authentication, complete your user profile
  • If you intend to operate on MePA or SDAPA, proceed to the Vendor Qualification step

Without SPID, CIE, CNS, or eIDAS - SIGN UP

Sign Up

This procedure applies to:

  • Non-EU citizens
  • EU citizens whose country does not support eIDAS
  • Italian citizens residing abroad without access to SPID, CIE, or CNS

To register

  1. Click SIGN UP in the login area
  2. Complete the registration form with:
    • Personal details (full name, tax code, date and country of birth, nationality, gender)
    • Identification document details
    • Contact information (email address and mobile phone number)
  3. You will receive a one-time password (OTP) via email
  4. ENTER the OTP to finalize your registration
Note
If you do not have an Italian tax code, enter the national identification number associated with your digital signature. This identifier will be used to verify any digitally signed documents uploaded to the platform.

Email

If you register without a recognised digital identity, you must complete a remote identify verification process.

  • You will receive an email from noreply-econtract@sixtema.it containing the link to schedule your video interview
Verify device
  • Before the session, verify that your device is compatible
  • During the interview, an operator will verify your personal data and passport
  • The session may be conducted in Italian or English

Notification of Successful Verification

If the verification is successful, you will receive three separate emails:

  1. First email: contains the username assigned by the system.
  2. Second email: provides a link to set your password.
  3. Third email includes a link to activate two-factor authentication (valid for 24 hours from the time of receipt).
Important
If the system detects a pre‑existing account created with the same information, that account will be reactivated.


Activation of Two‑Factor Authentication

Email

Once you have obtained your username and password, to proceed with the activation of two-factor authentication, you must download Microsoft Authenticator from your app store. After downloading the application, select the link provided in the third email to activate two-factor authentication; you will be redirected to the Acquisti in Rete homepage.

Two‑factor authentication

Here, within the Sign In section, enter your username and password once again. After you have entered your credentials, you will be redirected to a page of the website where a QR code will be displayed. Please scan this code using the Microsoft Authenticator application you have previously installed. Once the scan is complete, two‑factor authentication will be successfully activated.

Important
Warning
If you already have a username and password but you don’t have activated have 2FA yet, a warning message will appear during login. By entering your username and selecting Submit, you will receive an email with the instructions to complete the activation process.

To access the Acquisti in rete PA website:

  1. Select Sign in.
  2. Enter your username and password, then click Login.
  3. When prompted, enter the OTP code generated by your two‑factor authentication application.

Changing the Device Associated with Two‑Factor Authentication

Change Due to Loss

If you have lost the device associated with 2FA, please write to:

requesting the forced removal of the device. Your email must include a digitally signed self‑declaration.

Once this process is complete, you will need to repeat the association procedure as previously described.

Vendor Qualification (for MePA and SDAPA)

To submit offers or respond to requests on MePA or SDAPA, you must complete the Vendor Qualification process:

  1. LOG IN to your personal area
  2. Select your ROLE (e.g., Legal Representative)
  3. Complete the qualification form and upload the required documentation
Note
In some translations or automated tools, this step may appear as Enablement, which corresponds to the Italian term Abilitazione.


No Qualification Needed For

Vendor Qualification is not required if you participate in procedures published through:

  • Framework Agreements
  • Framework Contracts
  • Tenders managed by ASP (Application Service Provider)
